Italian Serie A

NFL jerseys
Leaders Inter failed to capitalise on a goalless draw between chasers AS Roma and AC Milan, as the Nerazzurri drew 0-0 at home with Genoa. Jose Mourinho's side have only won one of their last five in Serie A. Second-placed Milan loom, having dominated Roma but not converted their chances.

In the race for the fourth and final Champions League spot, Palermo grabbed an important 1-0 victory over Livorno, after Juventus had won on Saturday at Fiorentina 2-1. Seventh-placed Napoli's recent slide continued after losing 2-1 at Bologna.

Livorno are another side battling at the moment after their loss in Sicily left them on a four game losing streak and firmly in the drop zone. Seventeenth placed Lazio didn't do themselves any favours losing 2-1 at Sampdoria while bottom two Atalanta and Siena both managed draws this weekend.

Inter vs. Barcelona: CL Betting Preview

Always the risk of NFL jerseys ending up with egg on face when opposing Barcelona but every team has their price and the Spaniards are too short to win at the San Siro on Tuesday.

Pep Guardiola’s side have been magnificent again this season in attempting to successfully defend both heir La Liga and Champions League titles and the Catalan club remain very much on course to do so.

A goalless draw last time out at city rivals Espanyol momentarily halted Barcelona’s march towards another prestigious double but they maintained their lead at the top domestically from Real Madrid, the pair are a mile clear of third-placed Valencia, and are quite rightly considered favourites to also conquer Europe once again.

I expect Barcelona to get the better of the Italian outfit over the two legs and go on to win the trophy but anticipate will still have a job to do at the Nou Camp in the return and things could be tough going on Tuesday.

Iner Milan, under the ever-confident Jose Mourinho, have flourished in the knockout stages of this competition having beaten Chelsea and CSKA Moscow in both home and away ties of their last 16 and quarter-final clashes respectively and the Portuguese wizard is sure to have them tuned to the minute in their bid to reach the final.

Inter, who unlike Barca have relinquished top spot in their own league, will enter Tuesday’s clash much the fresher having been in action last Friday night, when triumphing 2-0 over Juventus, and it must concern Guardiola and his players that Barcelona’s travel arrangements have been so badly disrupted.

The defending champions will have been on the road for 48 hours by the time they arrive in Northern Italy, given the restrictions on air travel, and I anticipate something along the lines of the 0-0 draw when these two met in the group stages.

Barca often failed to convince away from the Nou Camp in the early rounds and, while in much better form now, Inter will certainly be no pushover.

Goals from Gerard Pique and Pedro gave Barcelona a 2-0 win over Tuesday’s opponents when the pair met on Spanish soil before the turn of the year but while they clearly possess reater individual talent than Mourinho’s men, there’s not much point in heaping more praise on Lionel Messi here, it must be remembered that the visitors do not need to win the game.

This promises to be a wonderful battle on the pitch as well as between the mind’s of the two coaches off it and it is certainly the most eagerly anticipate Champions League match of the season. Hopefully it will also be a profitable one.

Offense

The frontline is solid and that's good news. That will give QB Matt Hasselbeck (562 ATT, 352 COMP, 3,966 YDS, 28 TDs, 12 INT), who is a fine leader and skilled player, time to throw.
But Hasselbeck may have problems finding receivers. WR Deion Branch is out for part of the season due to injury. While aging WR Bobby Engram (94 REC, 1,147 YDS, 12.2 AVG, 6 TDs) will try to give the team one more quality season. Nate Burleson (50 REC, 694 YDS, 13.9 AVG. 9 TDs) was a sure-handed receiver in 2007. The ground unit is attempting toSoccer jerseys rebuild.

For the Ravens QB Questions Abound

But there are some major questions for Soccer jerseys certain teams when it comes to the signal calling spot and the Baltimore Ravens are holding one of the biggest question marks in the NFL. Ravens starter Kyle Boller has a partially torn labrum in his throwing shoulder and that condition may call for surgery. The surgery could delay his start or could knock him out for the entire season.

It's been reported that Boller has elected to go with non-surgical treatments for a week to see if he can get back to the field and throw again. After that week, he'll need to make another decision if he still can't throw.

Initial tests via a MRI were not hopeful. But Boller, who was hurt in a preseason contest versus the Minnesota Vikings, and the Ravens are waiting for the results from other tests.

If Boller is knocked out, the starting spot could go to rookie Joe Flacco. Although Flacco is third on the depth chart, the second-string QB, Troy Smith, is dealing with a viral illness and will not be ready to play when the season starts. Baltimore did sign free agent QB Casey Bramlet on Wednesday in an attempt to create some depth at the position.
Thursday, August 28, 2008 -- Okay, it looks like Peyton Manning of the Colts and Tom Brady of the Patriots are getting themselves geared up for their openers. That's certainly good news. The Indianapolis Colts quarterback had no soreness in his first workout with the team this week.
The New England Patriots Brady says that his foot, which has kept him out of the preseason, is not a problem. Tom Brady should start the Pats first regular-season game against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 7.

Magic 98 Bobcats 89

The Magic – and Jameer Nelson in particular – went crazy from long range to beat the Bobcats and their fantastic defense. soccer jerseys The Bobcats (+10) and the Under (188) both played out for bettors just as I predicted and I expect Charlotte to continue to give the Magic all they can handle before eventually bowing out in five games.
